Real Estate Exam Prep Coach works entirely offline — every question and explanation is on your device. This policy explains exactly what we do and do not collect.
The app does not require or offer account creation, sign-in, or a profile. We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any personally identifiable information.
Your study progress is stored locally on your device and mirrored to your own private iCloud account (see below). It is not stored on any server we operate. The only thing that reaches us is the anonymous usage counter described under “Anonymous usage analytics”.
The one-time unlock purchase is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit / the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information — Apple handles billing directly, and their privacy policy governs that transaction.
Starting with version 1.1, the app sends a small number of anonymous usage events so we can tell which parts of the app are useful and where people get stuck — for example “a practice session was completed” or “the unlock screen was shown”.
These events are tied to a random identifier generated on your device the first time you open the app. That identifier is not your Apple ID, not your device’s advertising identifier, and not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information. We cannot use it to identify you, and it is not shared with anyone.
An event may carry coarse context — how many questions a session contained, the resulting percentage score, which state you selected, and which screen triggered it. We never send the individual questions you answered, your answers themselves, or anything you type. There are no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking of any kind. If you use the app with no network connection, it works exactly the same and sends nothing.
Which questions you have answered, whether you got them right, your chosen state, and your unlock status are stored locally on your device and mirrored to your own private iCloud account so your progress survives a reinstall or a new device. That data goes to Apple’s iCloud under your Apple ID — it is never sent to us and we cannot read it.
This app does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. The anonymous usage events described above contain no personal information and cannot be used to identify a person.
